Airedale Hospital and Community Charity has raised a total of £8,681.22 through the Co-op 2022/23 Community Fund, with the support of Co-op stores in Steeton, Silsden, Cross Hills, and Gargrave, as well as a Co-op Funeralcare in Skipton.

Co-op’s Local Community Fund supports projects across the UK through the purchase of their Co-op branded products. The charity will use the funds raised through these purchases to provide wellbeing spaces, equipment, and any other items that will help improve the health and wellbeing of the patients and staff at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

Jodie Hearnshaw, Charity Manager, said:

“Being a part of the Co-op Community Fund has given us the opportunity to connect with our community in so many ways, especially through their everyday shopping.

“I want to thank every Co-op member who chose us as their charity – we raised an amazing amount through this fund, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you so much for all of your support, and thank you to the Co-op stores that have continuously supported us and helped us raise such an incredible amount for our cause.”
