Ward 17 sets off on charity trek in Peru

The team from the Children’s Ward at Airedale Hospital sets off on their trek through Machu Picchu in Peru today!

Rebecca Bell, Kirsty Randell, Suzi Vogt and Kim Varey will be trekking the Inca trail, which is a total of 46km and over 4,000m of altitude, from the 6-15 October to raise money for Airedale Hospital and Community Charity.

Funds raised will go towards refurbishing the outdoor spaces of the Children’s Ward, with any remaining funds going towards the ABC (Airedale Baby and Child) fund.

A massive good luck to the team, who have incredibly raised over £6,000 so far!
