On Saturday, 31 July, Matron Angie McGarry and Consultant David Driver were proud to unveil a toposcope on Pinhaw Beacon on behalf of colleagues at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The toposcope was erected by Douglas Goode in memory of all those who died of Covid-19 and expressing grateful thanks to all NHS staff and care workers for their unselfish dedication during the pandemic. During the event David Driver vividly described the harrowing effects of Covid-19 on staff working at Airedale Hospital.
David thanked all who had been involved in the erection of this viewing table which represents a lasting tribute to all key workers. A collection raised £525 for Airedale Hospital & Community Charity’s employee wellbeing fund.
The toposcope can be found at Pinhaw Beacon using the grid reference SD 944 472.
