Christmas Sock Day

You’ve heard of Christmas jumper day, but not all superheroes wear jumpers.  Yes, the superheroes working at Airedale Hospital often have to wear uniforms or scrubs to allow them to look after our patients. No matter what we wear or do though we all have one thing in common, especially in the winter – socks!

We are delighted to let you know that last years Christmas sock day was a huge sock-cess so we’ve decided to hold another one and it is bigger than ever.  On Friday 15 December our superhero team will be wearing their favourite Christmas socks and they would love for you to join them.  It’s simple: pick your socks (they can be super Christmassy or just fancy), wear them to school or work — or even just around the house — and donate £1 if you are able, to help us care for the Airedale community.

Who will be our ‘Sock Star’ of 2023? Send us your #SockSelfies or tag us into your social media posts!

To donate, text Sock to 70480 or donate through our JustGiving page here.

For more information, catch us on social media or give us a call; we would love to tell you about our socks!

Please let us know you are taking part by emailing anhsft.charity@nhs.net or calling our Charity office at 01535 294870.

Tree of Light

Our Tree of Light is coming to our top landing at Airedale Hospital!

Get the chance to sponsor your own bauble and light up the hospital with some Christmas cheer. The tree will be on display on the top landing at Airedale General Hospital from the 11 December – 5 January.

It’s simple: to sponsor a bauble, donate £25 to Airedale Hospital and Community Charity with the reference 339401tree, fill out our sponsorship form and send it to us at anhsft.charity@nhs.net along with a short message or image to go into the bauble. Once the donation has processed, we will contact you to let you know that your bauble has made it on the tree.

You can also send printed forms to C33 Charity and Communications, Airedale General Hospital, Skipton Road, Steeton BD20 6TD, but please include your contact details on the form so that we can let you know that your bauble is on the tree. Please also make sure your message or image is no bigger than 5x5cm.

If you are a business wishing to sponsor a bauble for us

Donate £25 to Airedale Hospital and Community Charity with the reference 339401tree, fill out our business sponsorship form, and send it to us with details of how you donated and your business logo or a short message. You can alternatively send printed forms and logos/messages to our office, but please make sure they are no bigger than 5x5cm.
