Skipton Rotary Club recently donated more than 100 advent calendars to the Children’s Unit at Airedale Hospital to bring joy to children in hospital this December.
Skipton Rotary President David Newall said
“Once again Skipton Rotary asked its members to think of the children of the region who are spending some time in hospital during the festive season. We hope the Advent Calendars we have donated will bring them some relief.”
David, along with Past President Andrew Gold, also the Chair of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, had the honour of handing over 100 advent calendars to the Children’s Ward at the hospital to Karen Reece, Play Leader on the Trust’s Children’s Ward, at the end of November.
