On Saturday 4 September, members of Green Crescent Aid UK arranged a family fun day at Airedale shopping centre in Keighley where there were lots of free activities for families to enjoy, including face painting, a bouncy castle, henna patterns and food. Everything was free for people to enjoy, and there was a bucket collection for our Make a Splash appeal to renovate the hydrotherapy pool at Airedale General Hospital.
The event went really well, and the bucket collection raised over £370! With it being the last weekend before school started, the Keighley community came together to enjoy the day and made the event a success. It even had to be extended for an hour, to ensure that everyone could get involved.
We’d like to say a special thank you to Morrisons who donated around 300 pieces of cake, and Craven Gelato who provided delicious donuts at the event.
You can still donate to our Make a Splash appeal here.
