HCL Workforce, a leading recruitment company with offices in Skipton, Leeds and London, has announced a partnership with Airedale Hospital and Community Charity for 2022. Representatives from the Skipton branch recently met with the charity to initiate the partnership and discussed what they plan to do to support Airedale NHS Foundation Trust throughout the year.

The company is planning a range of events to raise money, including fundraising races, a charity dinner and a Christmas fair.

Bryony McQuade, Recruitment Consultant at HCL Workforce, said:

“This year, we chose Airedale as our charity to support as we really felt that we wanted to give back to our local hospital where most of our family and friends have benefitted from their services.

“It’s especially important for us after the past couple of years with everything that NHS staff have done and continue to do for us throughout the pandemic.

“We’ve been thinking of lots of different ways we can support Airedale, from getting our running shoes on, to bake sales and Christmas fairs but the main event that we are hoping to hold is a Charity Ball, where our friends, family, hospital staff and local businesses can come together to show our support.”

Airedale Hospital and Community Charity is the official NHS charity of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. They support the Trust to enhance patient care and employee wellbeing and invest in areas across the hospital and community services.

Some examples of what the charity has provided for patients and staff over the last year are: an AccuVein viewer which makes finding veins in children and babies much easier; state of the art blood pressure monitors; comfortable sofas and chairs for staff rest areas; and iPads to allow Virtual Visiting.

Jodie Hearnshaw, manager at Airedale Hospital and Community Charity, said:

“We’re delighted that HCL Workforce has chosen us as their partner for this year. They have lots of exciting events planned to support Airedale and their help will make a huge difference to both patients and staff at the Trust.

“We couldn’t be more grateful for their support and we’re looking forward to cheering the team on with their fundraising.”
