Airedale Hospital & Community Charity has received a generous donation of £3,300 from local company Global Precision Group.
The donation will support the charity’s Emergency Department Appeal, helping to fund improvements to patient and family spaces, specialist paediatric facilities and bereavement areas for the thousands of people who rely on the department each year.
Global Precision Group has been a valued supporter of the charity throughout 2026. Earlier this year, the company also funded two specialist recliner chairs through the charity’s End of Life Comfort Chairs Appeal. The chairs help to provide comfort to patients by allowing family members and friends to sit or sleep at their bedside during their stay in hospital.

Our Emergency Department Appeal is focused on creating environments that are welcoming, comforting and supportive, whether that’s providing a calmer experience for children attending the department or ensuring families have a peaceful space during the most heartbreaking of times. Donations such as this help us provide those extra touches that go above and beyond NHS funding.”
The Emergency Department opened in 2014 and has since cared for nearly one million patients from across the Airedale community. Today, it treats more than 75,000 patents every year. The appeal was launched to refresh and enhance some of the department’s most used areas.
