What does Christmas mean to you? For many, it means receiving gifts, eating a delicious dinner with family, watching The Muppet Christmas Carol, and wrapping up in front of a warm fire.

We do our best to make sure that all patients feel at home here at Airedale, but it’s never the same as being home for Christmas. Every year, we use our Christmas Gift Appeal to help bring home to them, and bring them some festive warmth and cheer on Christmas Day.

We can’t do this without our friends and this is where you come in. We need your help to make our patients day really special, from our mini patients in Ward 17 to our elderly patients in Ward 10. Whether it’s a pair of fluffy socks, a soft blanket, or a set of colouring books to help pass the time, it’s really up to you and your gift-giving skills to bring comfort and joy this holiday season!

The final date to bring your gifts this year is Wednesday 13 December. Donations can be dropped off at the Charity office (location C33, next to the restaurant) at Airedale Hospital in a small box or gift bag, stating the age range and gender (if applicable) for the enclosed gift.

Please note – unfortunately we cannot accept gifts that are wrapped in paper.

We thank you for your continuous support, and hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
