Airedale Hospital and Community Charity returned to Branshaw Golf Club, Oakworth on Friday 5 September for their annual golf day. Through donations from attendees and a fully stocked raffle thanks to local businesses, a fantastic £4,344.
The event was sponsored by Davric Construction Services and Service Electrical (Bradford) for the second year running. Raffle prizes were kindly donated to the charity by Timothy Taylor’s Brewery, Worth Valley Railway, Drake and Macefield butchers, Junkyard Golf Leeds, Ilkley Brewery and Branshaw Golf Club to name a few.
David Hamer, Director of Davric Construction Projects said: “I’m very pleased that the second golf day was even more successful than the first. The support on the day was fantastic and it was great to see some returning faces from last years’ event.
“Everyone’s generosity on the day has resulted in us raising a brilliant amount of money towards a local cause that we will all utilise at some point in our lives.”
The funds raised from the day will help Airedale Hospital and Community Charity support where it’s needed most across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
Carla Weatherall, Charity Fundraiser added: “Our second golf day was a resounding success. I’d like to say a huge thank you to the Branshaw team for their support on the day, we couldn’t have done it without your help and we’re already looking forward to returning to the beautiful course in 2026.
