There are times when we need to raise funds for something really special. Creating an appeal means you can help us raise these funds and celebrate when we reach that target.

Here are the special projects currently happening at Airedale Hospital & Community Charity:

Support our Airedale Emergency Department appeal

Our Airedale Emergency Department appeal aims to raise £150,000 to give some of the most important areas in the department some TLC. We want to raise funds to provide the added extras that will make a real difference to our patients, their families, and our community.

The appeal focuses on three main areas: the children’s waiting area, paediatric resuscitation area, and the department’s bereavement facilities.

To support our Emergency Department Appeal and help us reach our target, you can donate via the JustGiving link here. You can also make donations via cheque or in cash and bank transfer using the following reference: ED Appeal.

To find out how you can help or set up your own fundraising challenge, please contact our team on 01535 294870 or anhsft.charity@nhs.net.

Any funds remaining at the end of the appeal will continue to be used for the Emergency Department at Airedale General Hospital.

Support our Intensive Care Unit for Airedale

We are raising funds to support the furnishing of the new Intensive Care Unit at Airedale General Hospital.

The recent experiences of Covid-19 have shown the value and importance of having an efficient intensive care unit at Airedale Hospital. The new ICU will be a modern space to treat the hospital’s most ill patients. It will be flexible and able to adapt quickly to the needs of the community.

The new Intensive Care Unit opens in Summer 2022. Airedale Hospital and Community Charity is raising funds for the added extras that are over and above NHS provision. They are the smaller things that really make a difference when patients and staff need it the most.

For more information on how you can help or to set up your own fundraising challenge please contact the charity team on 01535 294870 or at anhsft.charity@nhs.net.

Funds remaining after the appeal has closed will continue to be used for the benefit of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, its patients, employees and community.
